Celebrities Living in Leiper's Fork and Franklin
A picturesque country town, Leiper’s Fork is a little slice of heaven. Complete with gorgeous farms, the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway, historic buildings and country cooking at renowned restaurants like Puckett’s, this town just outside of Nashville can’t be beat. It’s no wonder that some of the world’s top celebrities have chosen to call Leiper’s Fork and its larger neighbor, Franklin, home. Just what stars might you bump into in these country towns 30 minutes or so south of Nashville?
1. Justin Timberlake
Perhaps the biggest name living in Leiper’s Fork is Justin Timberlake. JT purchased 126 acres in Leiper’s Fork several years ago at the coaxing of his longtime best friend Trace Ayala who also lives in the town. Timberlake tends to keep a low profile but did take center stage when he performed at the annual Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival as a way to give back to the local community.
2. Chris Stapleton
Country star Chris Stapleton moved to Leiper’s Fork in 2017, one-upping Justin Timberlake’s land purchase buy buying a 311 acre farm next door. Stapleton and his wife keep busy in Leiper’s Fork raising their five children. Chris and his wife Morgane are so tied to the community that Morgane even opened a jewelry store in town called Tennessee Turquoise. (The Stapleton’s move to Leiper’s Fork was, of course, the inspiration for our latest new shirt below. And, yes, we sent a complimentary tee to Justin Timberlake. Bragging rights, you know.)
3. Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are formerly residents of Franklin. The couple hasn’t ditched TN, however. They continue living in Nashville at an in-town estate. The couple’s country abode sold in 2017 after two years on the market. While they might not be living in Franklin currently, they’re occasionally spotted around town.
4. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill
Power country duo Tim McGraw and Faith Hill own an astonishing property just 8 minutes from Leiper’s Fork. The more than 750 acre farm’s main home was built in 1865 and was formerly owned by Hank Williams Sr. Recently, McGraw and Hill sold about 600 acres of the property to an investment group. The remaining 131 acres and original home remain on the market. Though the couple is selling this property, they continue living in their in-town Nashville mansion.
5. Brad Paisley
Brad Paisley, his wife and two sons call Franklin, TN home. Paisley reportedly resides in a luxury log home nestled on 100 acres of land. The Paisley family keeps a low profile so you won’t find much about their personal life or real estate holdings in print.
